Todd Siegel

Todd spent the early part of his legal career defending a wide range of civil litigation issues on behalf of Caesar's Casino, J.B. Hunt Trucking Company, and other insured and self-insured corporations. In 1991, he joined his family's law practice and has applied his knowledge of the techniques used by insurance companies to achieve the best possible result for clients who have suffered injury. Todd has since handled over one thousand cases involving motor vehicle accidents, fall downs, premises liability, construction, product liability and other negligence claims. He also has extensive experience in criminal, municipal court, motor vehicle violations, and insurance coverage matters.

In March 2012, Todd was featured on the front page of the New Jersey Law Journal regarding his efforts to lobby the New Jersey Legislature in providing victims of crime committed by store employees with greater ability to sue for damages. In May 2012, Todd was again featured in the New Jersey Law Journal regarding the firm's multi-million dollar recovery against two local school boards for their failure to supervise an employee who improperly touched several students. In August 2012, Todd recovered $1.4 million in New York Federal Court on behalf of the family of a college student who was killed in a motor vehicle accident in Florida. In October 2022, he recovered $1 million for a woman who injured her back in a motor vehicle accident.

In 2021, Todd was appointed by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as District Chair of the District IIA Fee Arbitration Committee, a division of the Office of Attorney Ethics.

Todd is admitted to practice in the State and Federal Courts of New Jersey and New York. He resides in Ramsey with his wife and two children.

Bertram Siegel

Bertram Siegel has been personally and directly responsible for over 5,000 litigated cases, and due to his exceptional litigation skills, many of the concluded cases have been published in the New Jersey Law Journal and in Verdict Search. Born and raised in Hackensack, Bert is a graduate of local schools. He received his B.A. in political science and psychology and his J.D. all from Rutgers University.

In addition to his legal work at Siegel and Siegel, Bert has also served as counsel for various brokerage firms, including MH Myerson and Bear Sterns. He was Chairman and Professor for the Department of Law and Government at Alphonsus College, a Catholic girl's college to which he donated his teaching and departmental head services to the Sisters of Saint John Baptist. Bert served as an arbitrator in the Superior Court in the State of New Jersey, as well as Public Defender in post-conviction appeals. He is admitted to the Supreme Court of the United States, Federal District Court for the State of New Jersey, the Patent Bar and the International Bar. Bert is also the recipient of the past President of the Bergen Count Attorney's Society. He is also a member of the Bergen Count Bar Association.

Bert has always been active in Bergen County by volunteering as a coach in soccer, baseball, and basketball for Pascack Hills High School. Bert has also been involved in Bergen County Boy Scouts. He has been elected, and served, for over 15 years as a member and President of Pascack Valley Regional Board of Education. He has served on the Planning Board and Zoning Boards of Woodcliff Lake.

Bert, a father of 4 children, and his wife live in Woodcliff Lake.

Howard Siegel

Howard Siegel has represented individual and corporations in over 5,000 real estate and business matters. His practice also consists of preparation of Wills, Powers of Attorney and Living Wills, Probate of Wills and filing of State and Federal returns. He has handled over 500 cases in the New Jersey Workers Compensation Division. Howard has lived in Bergen County his entire life and has many local connections to many communities. He graduated with a BA and an LLB from Rutgers University. Howard is admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court, Federal District Court for New Jersey and the State of New Jersey. He served as the first full-time attorney for the New Jersey Division on Civil Rights and has been president of the Bergen of the Bergen County Attorneys Society. He was a Chairperson of the Real Estate Committee of the Bergen County Bar Association where he has been a member for over 50 years. Howard has also been a member of the New Jersey Bar Association and the American Bar Association.

He was Borough Attorney in Emerson, New Jersey and was a Public Defender for a number of years. He has handled over 100 cases before the Court and was a member of the Planning Board in Emerson, New Jersey for 4 years.

Howard has been involved in many charitable organizations including being President of Teaneck B'nai Birth with over 350 members and ADL Chairman for New Jersey, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Delaware. He was a member of the Kiwanis Charitable Organization and the Board of Directors of Bergen County YCC.

Howard is the father of six children and lives in Park Ridge, NJ, where he served as President of the Board of Directors of the Bears Nest Condominium Association.
